As a Shawarma Maker, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality shawarma dishes in accordance with our recipes and standards. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by consistently delivering delicious and authentic shawarma. Key Responsibilities: Prepare shawarma meat (chicken, beef, lamb, or other proteins) by marinating, seasoning, and cooking it to perfection. Slice cooked meat thinly and assemble it with fresh vegetables, sauces, and condiments to create shawarma wraps, sandwiches, or plates. Operate and maintain shawarma equipment such as vertical rotisseries, grills, and slicers to ensure safe and efficient food preparation. Monitor food levels and replenish ingredients as needed to maintain smooth workflow during busy periods. Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient usage, conducting stock counts, and placing orders for supplies as necessary. Collaborate with team members to coordinate food preparation and maintain consistent quality across all menu items. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or special requests. Uphold company standards for food presentation, portion control, and flavor consistency to enhance the dining experience for customers. Continuously seek opportunities to improve recipes, techniques, and efficiency in shawarma preparation. Qualifications: Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or food service establishment. Proficiency in preparing and cooking shawarma meat using traditional methods and equipment. Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine, spices, and flavor profiles. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
